Making Space: Creativity in Spiritual Direction – A Workshop for Everyone
Turbulent Times Invite Creative Ways of Engagement
A different part of us comes alive when we use images—and even our own bodies—to express what is in us, in addition to the deep gift of words in a direction space. But if creativity feels like it’s reserved for “those artistic people”, and you’re not quite sure how you might invite people in those ways—or engage yourself!—come play with us on May 9th, 10am-12pm MT! Jamie Bonilla will be inviting us to consider times when a creative practice or response may be helpful, and some potential practices that can be engaged in both individual direction sessions and group direction or retreat settings.
So, if you have wondered about utilizing creativity in the sacred space of direction (whether as a practitioner, or on the receiving end!), we’d love to have you join us as we explore the “art” of spiritual direction. Cost is $45 and scholarships are available.
PLEASE NOTE: Even if you aren’t current in spiritual direction as a director or directee, if you’re interested in this topic, you are welcome. This is a space for everyone to explore what creativity and spirituality have to offer your soul and the souls of others.
