While the body has often been included in Lenten practice, it has traditionally been through fasting and other forms of deprivation. Such practices can have value yet can also contribute to dualistic theology and disintegrated living (body and soul are separate; body = bad, soul = good). Gentle, contemplative yoga invites us into an embodied experience of prayer engaging body, mind, and spirit as we seek to attune to the One who dwells within us and among us.
In addition to a gentle flow, each week participants will be provided with a breath prayer, scripture and reflection prompts to carry into the week ahead.
Join weekly or register for the Lenten yoga bundle – all seven recordings for the price of six; link & content emailed each Wednesday and will remain available for the following two weeks $60. All are welcome; no experience necessary. Register here. (www.communesoulcare.com/
