There is much to grieve, lament, and process in our world. The realities and impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, the war in Ukraine, racial inequities and injustices, global climate change, and the loss of hope in so many of our communities, not to mention our personal and equally harrowing sorrows. As spiritual directors and soul care providers, we must engage our own processes and griefs alongside those we accompany.
This workshop is designed for both praxis and reflection, for practice and reflection, as well as practical tools for engaging grief within a spiritual director session or soul care conversation. Led by Tara Owens, who has a Certificate in Death, Dying & Grieving from Tyndale Seminary, this workshop is open to spiritual directors, soul care providers, clergy, and those alongside others in a healing way.
