A Listening Lent invites you to let go of prayer as an obligation or religious “should,” and receive it as a way to create space to listen to the voice of Love in your life, and ultimately deepen friendship with God. Come learn and experiment with various Christian prayer practices in a communal, grace-filled setting.

For each of the six weeks of Lent we will explore, try-on, and reflect upon a different form of prayer together, experimenting and playing with various ways of listening for God. Prayer practices will include Lectio Divina, Examen, Imaginative, and Centering prayer. All are welcome whether you’ve experienced one, all, or none of these.
