Join us as Josué Perea talks to us about ‘Black Lives & Contemplation’ a nascent project that explores contemplative practices through the lens of Black wisdom and lived experience. Josué will bring musica divina, history, and wisdom for spiritual directors to first encounter these practices and then hold space with others.

Guesnerth Josué Perea serves as Director of Black Lives & Contemplation for the Center for Spiritual Imagination, a ministry of the Community of the Incarnation. A dedicated Brooklynite, through his work on AfroLatinidad and Diasporic Blackness, Josue embodies Biggie’s call to “spread love, the Brooklyn way.”
