DESCRIPTION:Are you on an adventure that is moving you closer to the Creator\, your deepest beloved self and the Earth? This one-day retreat is a special opportunity for you to set aside everyday busyness\, take a rest in the mountains and engage in some simple but powerful spiritual practices that can help you move toward new beginnings and maybe even rebirth. Throughout Earth and over the centuries\, persons have taken up practices that intentionally prepare them for new beginnings — practices that move persons forward with meaning\, rather than just being blown here and there\, wherever the moment’s wind is blowing. One example is how followers of Christ make a journey called Lent which takes place over 40 days\, minus Sundays\, leading up to Easter’s celebration of resurrection. This retreat day is dedicated to help you Journey On towards resurrection\, new life\, new joy.  \nWe’ll gather as a group for contemplative centering to start our day\, then Todd will offer a teaching on spiritual practices for you to consider. We’ll have lunch together and then there will be a couple of hours of solo time for experimenting with the practices of the day or intentional resting in the quiet and beauty of the mountains. During this portion of the day\, we will be holding community silence. Although\, if you would like a time of spiritual direction with Todd\, he has availability for one session\, first come\, first serve\, during the afternoon. We’ll re-gather at end of the day for a brief closing and blessing. \nWho: This retreat day is limited to the first 10 adults who register by emailing todd@anamcara.com and pay their registration fee of $50 per person.
