DESCRIPTION:Renovate: Tools\, Support and Skills for Refreshing your Spiritual Direction Practice \n\n\nRenovate is a yearlong cohort for trained spiritual directors who are looking for additional training\, tools\, and support for their practice. Led by Anam Cara trained spiritual directors and supervisors\, Rachel Reed and Jeremy Frye\, this year long training includes monthly online training modules\,gathering for praxis\, as well as small group supervision. \nOver the course of the year we will take time to define spiritual direction\, discuss the role of supervision in the practice of spiritual direction\, learn and practice helpful (or practical) skills\, look at ethical dilemmas and relational roles\, explore what it means to be a non-manipulative presence and approach the topic that nearly all of us are uncomfortable with; the business of your spiritual direction practice. \n\n\nCohort is limited to 20 participants. \nHere’s what past participants are saying about Renovate: \n\n “Renovate has been a wonderful year of “continuing education” for my spiritual direction practice. DESCRIPTION:Turbulent Times Invite Creative Ways of Engagement \nA different part of us comes alive when we use images—and even our own bodies—to express what is in us\, in addition to the deep gift of words in a direction space. But if creativity feels like it’s reserved for “those artistic people”\, and you’re not quite sure how you might invite people in those ways—or engage yourself!—come play with us on May 9th\, 10am-12pm MT! Jamie Bonilla will be inviting us to consider times when a creative practice or response may be helpful\, and some potential practices that can be engaged in both individual direction sessions and group direction or retreat settings. \nSo\, if you have wondered about utilizing creativity in the sacred space of direction (whether as a practitioner\, or on the receiving end!)\, we’d love to have you join us as we explore the “art” of spiritual direction. DESCRIPTION:Renovate: Tools\, Support and Skills for Refreshing your Spiritual Direction Practice \n\n\nRenovate is a yearlong cohort for trained spiritual directors who are looking for additional training\, tools\, and support for their practice. Led by Anam Cara trained spiritual directors and supervisors\, Rachel Reed and Jeremy Frye\, this year long training includes monthly online training modules\,gathering for praxis\, as well as small group supervision. \nOver the course of the year we will take time to define spiritual direction\, discuss the role of supervision in the practice of spiritual direction\, learn and practice helpful (or practical) skills\, look at ethical dilemmas and relational roles\, explore what it means to be a non-manipulative presence and approach the topic that nearly all of us are uncomfortable with; the business of your spiritual direction practice. \n\n\nCohort is limited to 20 participants. \nHere’s what past participants are saying about Renovate: \n\n “Renovate has been a wonderful year of “continuing education” for my spiritual direction practice. I have learned so much from the collective wisdom of our community and loved that each of us were trained as spiritual directors in different programs.” – Pace\n\n\n\n“I have thoroughly enjoyed and been enriched by the Renovate course this last year.
