DESCRIPTION:Renovate: Tools\, Support and Skills for Refreshing your Spiritual Direction Practice \n\n\nRenovate is a yearlong cohort for trained spiritual directors who are looking for additional training\, tools\, and support for their practice. Led by Anam Cara trained spiritual directors and supervisors\, Rachel Reed and Jeremy Frye\, this year long training includes monthly online training modules\,gathering for praxis\, as well as small group supervision. \nOver the course of the year we will take time to define spiritual direction\, discuss the role of supervision in the practice of spiritual direction\, learn and practice helpful (or practical) skills\, look at ethical dilemmas and relational roles\, explore what it means to be a non-manipulative presence and approach the topic that nearly all of us are uncomfortable with; the business of your spiritual direction practice. \n\n\nCohort is limited to 20. \n$150 Deposit to hold your seat\, which covers the first month’s fee. \nEarly Bird Registration is $1800\, billed at $150 per month. \n$2400 after March 1\, 2024 billed at $200 per month. \nRegister Here

DESCRIPTION:Beginning Ash Wednesday\, Feb 14th\, Elizabeth Peterson will be offering a seven week yoga series crafted around Lenten themes. \n \n\nWhile the body has often been included in Lenten practice\, it has traditionally been through fasting and other forms of deprivation. Such practices can have value yet can also contribute to dualistic theology and disintegrated living (body and soul are separate; body = bad\, soul = good). DESCRIPTION:Are you on an adventure that is moving you closer to the Creator\, your deepest beloved self and the Earth? This one-day retreat is a special opportunity for you to set aside everyday busyness\, take a rest in the mountains and engage in some simple but powerful spiritual practices that can help you move toward new beginnings and maybe even rebirth. Throughout Earth and over the centuries\, persons have taken up practices that intentionally prepare them for new beginnings — practices that move persons forward with meaning\, rather than just being blown here and there\, wherever the moment’s wind is blowing. One example is how followers of Christ make a journey called Lent which takes place over 40 days\, minus Sundays\, leading up to Easter’s celebration of resurrection. This retreat day is dedicated to help you Journey On towards resurrection\, new life\, new joy.  \nWe’ll gather as a group for contemplative centering to start our day\, then Todd will offer a teaching on spiritual practices for you to consider. We’ll have lunch together and then there will be a couple of hours of solo time for experimenting with the practices of the day or intentional resting in the quiet and beauty of the mountains. During this portion of the day\, we will be holding community silence. Although\, if you would like a time of spiritual direction with Todd\, he has availability for one session\, first come\, first serve\, during the afternoon. We’ll re-gather at end of the day for a brief closing and blessing. \nWho: This retreat day is limited to the first 10 adults who register by emailing todd@anamcara.com and pay their registration fee of $50 per person. It will fill up fast! \nWhere: Zuni Ranch (3 Zuni Point\, Woodland Park\, CO 80863) \nWhen: Saturday\, February 24\, 9am-4pm \nFood: A simple lunch will be provided. There will be gluten free options. Let Todd know if there are other dietary needs. \nWhat to Bring: Wear layers of warm clothing and sturdy shoes for time outdoors\, weather-permitting. Also\, bring a water bottle and your own journal.
