DESCRIPTION:Renovate: Tools\, Support and Skills for Refreshing your Spiritual Direction Practice \n\n\nRenovate is a yearlong cohort for trained spiritual directors who are looking for additional training\, tools\, and support for their practice. Led by Anam Cara trained spiritual directors and supervisors\, Rachel Reed and Jeremy Frye\, this year long training includes monthly online training modules\,gathering for praxis\, as well as small group supervision. \nOver the course of the year we will take time to define spiritual direction\, discuss the role of supervision in the practice of spiritual direction\, learn and practice helpful (or practical) skills\, look at ethical dilemmas and relational roles\, explore what it means to be a non-manipulative presence and approach the topic that nearly all of us are uncomfortable with; the business of your spiritual direction practice. \n\n\nCohort is limited to 20. \n$150 Deposit to hold your seat\, which covers the first month’s fee. \nEarly Bird Registration is $1800\, billed at $150 per month. \n$2400 after March 1\, 2024 billed at $200 per month. \nRegister Here

Human sexuality…is most fundamentally the divine invitation to find our destinies not in loneliness but in deep connection…we experience our sexuality as the basic eros of our humanness that urges\, invites\, and lures us out of our loneliness into intimate communication and communion with God and the world.”\nSexuality and Holy Longing\, Lisa Graham McMinn\n\nAs spiritual directors\, so much of our work surrounds desire. In order to have a fully orbed understanding of desire\, we need to encounter and reflect upon the energies our sexuality—and that of our directees. When the topic of sexuality is ignored\, repressed\, or narrowed to preclude the work of God\, we\, as directors\, tread in dangerous territory. This workshop will look at the importance of sexuality in the spiritual direction room\, and begin to introduce not only appropriate ways to listen for and reflect God’s invitations through sexuality but also why holy listening in this area of life matters so much.\nRegister Here

DESCRIPTION:Renovate: Tools\, Support and Skills for Refreshing your Spiritual Direction Practice \n\n\nRenovate is a yearlong cohort for trained spiritual directors who are looking for additional training\, tools\, and support for their practice. Led by Anam Cara trained spiritual directors and supervisors\, Rachel Reed and Jeremy Frye\, this year long training includes monthly online training modules\,gathering for praxis\, as well as small group supervision. \nOver the course of the year we will take time to define spiritual direction\, discuss the role of supervision in the practice of spiritual direction\, learn and practice helpful (or practical) skills\, look at ethical dilemmas and relational roles\, explore what it means to be a non-manipulative presence and approach the topic that nearly all of us are uncomfortable with; the business of your spiritual direction practice. \n\n\nCohort is limited to 20. \n$150 Deposit to hold your seat\, which covers the first month’s fee. \nEarly Bird Registration is $1800\, billed at $150 per month. \n$2400 after March 1\, 2024 billed at $200 per month. \nRegister Here
